The daughter was in the middle of her singing lesson when her mother entered the room. She listened for a moment or two, arid then broke in : “As—er—how i'l my daughter getting on? D’you think she will make a great singer?” The teacher coughed and seemed at a loss for a reply. “It—it’s very hard to say,” he said at last. “But surely she posessses some of the qualifications?” “Well—er—she’s a mouth, certainly!”
