SHEEPSKINS AND HIDES Prices were easier at the sale of sheepskins and hides held yesterday by the Wellington brokers. Shegpgkins: Competition was rather restricted, and an easing in prices of id to £d a lb was recorded. Hides: The market was erratic, ahd except for calfskins, which advanced by about jjd a lb, prices were generally lower. Tallow: A small offering was submitted and prices were firm. The range of prices is as follows: Hides: Ox, 331 b to 441 b, 4d to §id; 451 b to 521 b, 4 l-8d to 5 7-8 d; 531 b to 591 h, 4d to 6 7-8 d; 60Jb to 691 b, 4cJ to Ggd; 701 b and over, 3 7-8 dto 6sd.
