MAYO COMPOSITE AIRCRAFT
TO BE USED BY IMPERIAL AIRWAYS CARRYING CHRISTMAS MAILS lßritish Official Wireless! (Received 26th November, 1.30 p.m.) RUGBY, 25th November. The Mayo composite aircraft will have its part to play in the great organisation created by Imperial Airways to carry vast quantities of Christmas mail overseas. The Mercury, launched above Southampton Water from the under component, Maia, will make a number of special non-stop flights to Egypt, carrying on each voyage nearly a ton of mail.
