MISHAP TO BAFFIN MACHINE
COLLAPSE OF LANDING WHEEL PILOT NOT INJURED fUnited Press Associatioul BLENHEIM, This Day. When one of the lialiin bombers'belonging to the Wellington Territorial Air Force Squadron which is encamped at Blenheim aerodrome was taxiing slowly out on to the flying field this morning pieparatory to taking oft' lor machine-gun practice at Lake Grassmcre, one of the landing wheels collapsed and the bio machine tipped forward smashing a pro° peller and one of the lower wings. PilotOfficer Smith, who was at the controls, was not injured. An examination disclosed faults in the metal disc wheel. Repairs will be effected at Blenheim after spare parts are received from Hobsonville base.
