LAWYER ACCEPTS NOMINATION (i I-* A —bv Electric THegrnph Copyrlebt) LONDON, 23rd November. M. Hacha, a lawyer, has accepted a nomination for the presidency of Czechoslovakia. The National Assembly will elect the President on 28th November. The Prague correspondent of "The Times” says that M. Hacha. a 60-year-old non-party member, and President of the Supreme Court, will be Czechoslovak delegate to the Hague International Court. Fascist pamphlets against M. Chvalkovsky, the Foreign Minister, alleging that he is of Jewish origin, are believed to have killed his chances of election to the presidency.
