SERVICE TO LIBRARY RECOGNISED A farewell, in the form of a jolly surprise party, was recently held at the residence of Mr and Mrs H. Win, of Dovedale, by members of the Dovedale library, ol which Mrs Win has been a very efficient custodian for the past seven years. On behalf of the members of the library Mr A. Kenyon presented Mrs Win with a Jha-idsome silver cake dish, as a small token or the respect and esteem iii which she was held. Mrs Win suitably replied. Music and games were then indulged in, “table rapping ’ bringing forth some startling revelations. A competition arranged by Mrs Hall was won by Mrs Crerar. The very happy evening was brought to u close by the singing of “Auld Lang Syne.”
