AUSTRIAN DOCTORS FIFTY TO BE ADMITTED TO BRITAIN Ul* A B.v Electric Telegraph-Copyright’ (Received 16th July, 9.45 a.m.) LONDON, 15th July. The British Medical Association agreed to the admission of 50 refugee Austrian doctors. A London message dated 7th July stated that British doctors had decided to adopt drastic trade union tactics to prevent Austrian medical men practising in Britain. The secretary of the Medical Practitioners’ Association stated that it had been decided to circularise every doctor in Britain and communicate with every member of the House of Commons If this was unsuccessful the association would seek to arouse <he wmle country and might stage a sit-down strike.
