MOTUEKA ELECTORATE
LABOUR PARTY CANDIDATE MR C. F. SKINNER SELECTED [United Press Association! WELLINGTON, This Day. The national executive of the New Zealand Labour Party announces that Mr C. F. Skinner, Inangahua Junction, has been selected to contest the Motueka seat by the members of the party resident in the electorate, and has now been endorsed as the party's official candidate. Mr C. F. Skinner, who has been selected as the official Labour candidate for the Motueka seat, is a foreman carpenter for the Public Works Department at Inangahua. He has been an active member of the Labour Party for a number of years, particularly in the Waitaki district. He is president of the Inangahua branch of the Labour Party and a member of the Motueka Labour Representation Committee. Mr Skinner is a young man about 30 years of age.
