SHOP FRONT SWEEPING

Ho The Editor! Sir.- 1 wonder if many pcopie have noted what a dusty and unhealthy place Nelson is. especially in /Trafalgar and ! Bridge streets, between 8.30 and 9 o clock every morning (except wet ones)? The cause is a pernicious habit of junior shop assistants of sweeping up clouds of dust from the pavements. Further. there is a decided lack of thoughtfulness shown by some of these young people who do not cease fire for a moment to allow a pedestrian to pass! unmolested. I am. etc., DUSTED. Nelson. 2nd May.
