ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING r The annual general meeting of the s Pirate Rugby football Club wrs held 2 in the Brightwatcr Institute rooms, and ' | was well attended, 111 the absence of the club president. ' j Mr R. S. Ilaycock. vice-president, was r ! voted to the chair. ’ j The balance sheet and general report 21 was read and adopted. It was pleasing f j to note that the club was in a good fin--11 ancial position which reflected credit on - the club's management committee and - treasurer. The election of officers resulted; Patron. Mr A. E. Max: president, Mr J. f R. Gregg; vice-presidents. Messrs G. 2 W. Hall. R. S. Haycock. R. Brownlie. 1 J. Fanslow. Nock. K. Smith. R. Ncw- » man. and L. Max; lion, secretary. Mr L. 1 G. Hyde (re-elected); hon. treasurer, Mr N. R. Kearns (re-elected); management committee. Messrs G. Robinson. ® S. Ford. N. Palmer. L: G. Hyde and N. R. Kearns; social committee, same as management committee: club captain. Mr L. G. Hyde (re-elected); selector. Mr N. R. Kearns (re-elected); club delegates to the annual meeting of the Nolson Rugby Union. Messrs Kearns and ' Hyde. f After a general discussion on club * affairs and the enrolment of several new' players the meeting terminated e with thanks to "The Mail.” St. John - Ambulance, the referees, and the Neli son Rugby Union.
