MEETING OF MAITAI LODGE VISIT TO WELLINGTON AT EASTER The fortnightly meeting of Mait.ai Lodge No. 15, U.A.0.D., was held in the lodge room, Collingwood street, last evening. There was a good attendance, presided over by the Arch Druid (Bro. F. M. Day). Three candidates were proposed for I initiation as full benefit members, i Correspondence, surgeon’s and sick visitors’ reports were received and dealt with. Bro. L. Delaney, secretary of the Easter Committee, reported regarding the visit of a cricket team to Wellington at Easter and stated it was hoped to finalise all arrangements by next lodge night. The following would probably make up the party: L. Delaney, R. Burdon, R. Hill, W. Dec, R. Simpson (Maitai Lodge), S. Wadsworth, A. A. Steer, M. A. Steer. K. Newport, H. R. Power, E. M. Wells, G. Creep, P. Gibbs (Shed Wood Lodge), A. A. Fleming, G. French (Murchison Lodge), and Mrs Dyer, and Miss Steer (Tapawera). The Royal Arch Secretary reported on a meeting of the Royal Arch Chapter and notified members of a further meeting to be held next Monday evening. Sick pay and accounts (including maternity benefit £6, National Provident pension £4 6s 2d, and £2 5s 5d from Sick Members’ Contribution Fund) amounting to £174 17s 7d were passed for payment.
