Mr E. R. Johnston is at present visiting Ward as the guest of Mr and Mrs Sharpe. Mr A. L. Fitch the visiting American coach, is exhibiting this evening, at the Civic Tea Rooms, at 8.30 p.m, a slow motion film showing all types c f track and field athletes in action. Each phase will be accompanied by an explanatory talk by Mr Fitch. This evening is open to all athletes, officials and those interested in athletics. No charge is being made for admission. The combined committee of the Nelson Rifle Club and City Pipe Band will hold another popular dance and ingleside at the School of Dancing, Hardy street, as advertised. Clarrie Lee's orchestra will supply the music for the old favourites and modern dances Prizes will be awarded for the Monte Carlo and early bird.
