ENGLISH WOMEN’S HOCKEY TEAM Illy Telegraph—Press Associaiioni LONDON. 16th December. Replying to a report that the New South Wales Women’s Hockey Association was awaiting a reply to an invitation for an All England’s women’s team to tour Australia in 1938, the secretary, Miss Baumann, said that she had already mailed a refusal. It had been arranged for a team to tour New Zealand next winter, and as far as she could see at present it would be impossible to leave earlier lo play Aiefpossibcl to leave earlier to play Australia.
