CHARGES IN THE COMMONS DEPARTMENTAL INQUIRY (United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright] LONDON, 17th November. After a violent attack in the House of Commons on Imperial Airways and the general backwardness of British aviation, Lieutenant-Colonel A. J. Muirhead, Parliamentary Secretary for Labour, announced that in view of specific allegation which had been made the Secretary of Air would, in fairness to both sides, set up a departmental inquiry into members charges of inefficiency in the methods of Imperial Airways in dealing with the staff.
