At a meeting of Ihe New South Wales Rugby League criticism was expressed m regard to the poaching of Australian players by wealthy English clubs, which led to an indifferent display by the present louring Australian team and a falling off in the attendances in Australia. It was decided to recomm.iul that the Australian Board of Control should ask the English Rugby League <n rcimpo.se the ban on the importation of Australian players. The opinion was expressed that New Zealand was bound to suffer in the same way, and it was thcrclorc decided to seek the co-operation of tlie New Zealand League in the request for the reimposition of the ban.
