- ATTITUDE OF JAPAN | j (Received 19th November, 10.40 a.m.) RUGBY, 17th November. Questioned in the House ol' Com- ■ mons on the Far Eastern conflict, Vis-1 count Crnnborne, the Foreign Uncle, Secretary, said that the position at the moment was that the parties to the declaration issued by the Brussels Conference on 15th November were considering what was to be their common attitude in view of the position taken up by Japan on the interpretation of her obligations under the Washington Treaty and the Kellogg Pact. Pending the reassembly of the Brussels Conference it would be impossible to estimate the chances of securing an agreement on any joint action.
