TWO INJURED
■ ♦ MOTOR CAR ACCIDENT IHy Telegraph— PreßS Association! NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day. Severe injuries were suffered by George Duke, aged 24 years, and Lewis Blakely, aged 20 years, when a car driven by Duke crushed into a pile of timber beside a road, smashed a telegraph pole, and ended up badly wrecked half a chain away. The accident occurred half a mile from Puniho at 12.30 this morning. The third occupant of the car, Allan Bailey, suffered skull injuries and shock, anc Blakely a fractured thigh. The car turned a double somersault, the left side and the hood being torn off.
