HONEY INDUSTRY
REPORTS DISCOUNTED fßy Telegraph-Pihhh Association! DUNEDIN, 16th November. For some time now the main honeyproducing districts have been petitioning the Government ior some form ol control, and reported widespread opposition towards the alleged intention of the Government to take complete control is discounted by persons connected with the industry. These complaints it is said, are being made by certain interests outside the association. Some measure of control for the fixing of minimum prices and functions of that nature is desired by the organised industry, but there is no evidence to support the suggestion that complete control by the Government is contempt? ted.
