ALL SAINTS' PARISH

j SUNDAY SCHOOL CONCERT The annual concert of All Saints' Sunday School took place last evening before an audience which tilled the Parish Hall. The Rev. Canon Haultain presided. He expressed thanks to Mr and Mrs A. McConchie and all the teachers for their labours in training the children. Mr McConchie in replying thanked Miss G. Gough especially for acting as pianist in the practices and at the concert. She was presented with a gift and a beautiful bouquet of flowers. The Port Primary Sunday Schooi under the leadership of the OUiver was also associated with the programme. The Vicar thanked Mr Toomer for kindly lending the coloured electric light outfit and also the Anzac Scouts for helping in a practical way. The programme was as follows: Opening hymn, “All the World for Jesus,” the company; songs, Port Primary school, “Little Nurses,” the girls; “Little Gardeners,” the boys. Recitation, “My Neck Doesn’t Want Washing,” Colin Scadden. Playctle, “Father Christmas Comes to Supper,” Miss Nirinis’ class. Piano solo, “Evening Clouds.” Barbara Jesperson. Dance, Pat Turner. Play, “Before Nine,” Miss E. Kenmarc’s class. Song, “Skye Boat Song,” Robert Crichton. Song, “Toy Shop Heroes,” Miss M. Tibbie's class. Recitation, “When the Minister comes to Tea,” Marie Gatward. Pianoforte solo, George McConcihe. Song, sketch, “Who Stole (he Rabbit,” boys. Duet. “\n Old Lullaby,” Olga Puklowski and lima Arbuckle. Play, “A Joker in Disgrace.” Mrs McGonchie’s class. "God Save the King.” The concert in collection with Toi Toi and Bishoptlalc Sunday Schools will be held in the Toi Toi Hall on Thursday, 2nd December. I I !
