A gunman in the early morning entered the apartment of Hymie Millar, aged 31 years, a movie actor cafe owner and fired four shots, blowing off Miller’s nose and wounding him in the neck, hand and thigh. Miller was unal lc to describe the gunman. He heard a noise and woke up. A dim figure in the darkness immediately opened fire. Miller was scheduled to appear in scenes in the film Robin Ilood to-day.
