SIGNS OF RAIN
When rain is on the way sounds (e.g., distant raliway trains) arc heard nnjeh clearer than usual. Birds fly rather low. Smoke hangs low. Distant In!!: are seen more distinctly than at other times. Frogs croak loudly. Fish jump out of (lie water. Flics become lazy. Corns, old wounds, and rheumatic joints become painful.
