MAN ACCIDENTALLY SHOT

William George Urquhart. aged 29. married, died in hospital to-day as a result of injuries accidentally received when handling a pea-rifle. It is understood that he left his parents’ home early this morning with the intention of shooting a cat. He was later found lying beside the rifle, which had been discharged, and suffering from a wound in the chest. He was admitted to a private hospital, but died in the afternoon. He leaves a widow and one child.
