GOLF TOURING TEAM
FERRIER’S NON-INCLUSION [United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright! SYDNEY, 15th November. The fact that Ferrier is not included in the Australian golf team for Great Britain is causing comment. Golf writers hasten to explain that the idea was to pick a team thoroughly representative of Australian golf and not necessarily the best. The selectors chose the team for its social and ambassadorial qualifications, merely to play what is termed “picnic golf.”
