I Kv Telegraph - Prepp Association! TIMARU, 13th November. Described as a silver bettor, Arthur McKenzie, married, aged 47. appeared before the Magistrate. Mr Morgan, this morning and pleaded guilty to carrying on the business of a bookmaker at Tiinaru. He was fined Ll2 and given a fortnight in which to pay. The police said it was Ins first offence. It was understood that McKenzie, who was in a small way. was acting as agent for a man operating on a large scale.
