THEFT BY YOUTH

Employed in a bank in the city where he sorted the mail, a youth aged 17 years and nine months, stole £7 in money and a cheque for £8 10s. As a result he appeared in the Magistrate’s Court to-day charged with the thefts. He was convicted and ordered to came up for sentence if called on within twelve months. His name was suppressed.
