JJLOMI'TELD DISQUALIFIED
WELLINGTON, This Day.
Disqualified because be kicked Don Noland in the face while they were both clambering back into Hie ring after a tumble through the ropes, Lofty Blomfield was the loser in last night’s professional wrestling contest at the Wellington Town Hall. As early as the third round Blomfield dumped Noland three times and gained a fall; but in the sixth Noland, who had demonstrated several new and ingenious holds, applied a cradlehold with his legs and set the score even. Other holds used by Noland were a reverse deathlock, holding Blomfield on his back, and manipulating his legs will his arm, and a novel hold in which lie crossed Blomfield's logs, pinned them so, and forced his knees violently apart in what appeared a most excrutiating manner. The incident which closed the bout occurred in the eighth round and was received by the large crowd witli mixed approval and disgust, anger and approbation.
