Beban presiding. | By (14 votes to (52 the next championships were allotted to Gisborne. Mr Sccats. the Oamaru delegate, proposed a motion that the conference urge the Minister of Health and Education to have an investigation made into the desirability of placing sports in i schools on the basis of being taught | by teachers and on the same status as other subjects. The motion was carried 1 unanimously. A remit that associations conduct j professional contests on a percentage 1 basis only was lost. | It was decided that the council in- ! vestigate the procuring of an adequate ! msurance cover for all amateurs.
