CHARGES AGAINST PILOT I Kv Telegraph - Prepp Association! INVERCARGILL, 10th September. In the Magistrate’s Court before Mr W. H. Freeman, S.M.. Roy Champion Kean. Inspector of Civil Aviation, proceeded against John Bradshaw on four charges. The first was that on 30th D. mber at Invercargill he failed to satisfy himself before commencing a Might that the aircraft was satisfactorily loaded ior the flight; secondly, that the conditions governing the certificate of airworthiness for the DH FoxMoth aeroplane had not been complied with; thirdly, that he flew an aeroplane in which the total weight exceeded 21161 b laid down in the certificate ol airworthiness; and fourthly, that he used an unlicensed landing place at Big Bay while carrying passengers for hire. The defendant pleaded not guilty to all four charges. Mr Kean also proceeded against the Southland Aero Club as owner of the aeroplane involved for failure to notify an accident by telegram to the Controller of Civil Aviation as soon as possible.
