“I HEAVY FOOTED" CONVENTION
Here's another nice little bit "i trouble coming up. Recently in Hollywood they have been having many large conventions, hundreds ol motion picture delegates from all over the world. The delegates have to be entertained and it is an old Holly\*iocl custom to instruct the stars to bo present at dinner at such and- such a place. The stars take it fairly well, as they have nothing to do but endeavour to refrain from looking as bored as they feel. Small part girls, however, particularly if they can dance are expected to rally round in a large manner. Recently two absolutely retused. Their reason was that they had had former experience and they could not. a fiord new shoes and new dresses alter the heavy-footed convention had danced. on them.
