FRANK FOREST
Frank Forest, young American opera tenor, who has sung in all the capitals of Europe, was engaged as the first member of a notable cast with which Columbia intends to surround Grace Moore in her new starring musical production, “I'll Take Romance.” Mclvyn Douglas will be the star’s leading man. while Edward H. Griffiths has already been engaged to direct Rehearsals with a huge orchestra started recently, with actual shooting scheduled to begin within a short time. The story is by Stephen Morehouse Avery and was prepared for the screen by Jane Murfin. Having completed his musical engagements abroad, where he lias been singing for a number of year, Mr Forest returned to America last year to appear .vith the Chicago Opera Company. Later he was placed under contract by Paramount and played in “Big Broadcast of 1937” and “Champagne Waltz.”
