A vigorous depression with very"low pressure in the southern portion is now advancing on t» New Zealand from the Tasman Sea It is Icing followed by a sharp rise of pressure and southerly gales. The forecast is for northerly winds, strong to gale force, backing to southerly by to-morrow morning. The weather will be unsettled and squally, with rain and snow on the mountains Temperatures becoming cold. Seas rough.
