Tonks (Ashburton), 9.7£, on a technical knock out. Welterweight: E. Swift (Greymouth) defaulted to R. Baker (Otago); J. Davis (Hawke’s Bay), 10.4, beat D. McLeod (Rakaia), 10.5|. Light-heavyweight: T. O’Gorman (Christchurch), 12.4, knocked out B. Neame (Southland), 11.7; W. Lister (Rakaia), 12.5, beat S. Jones (Taranaki), 12.3; J. Page (Marlborough) defaulted to T.
