MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS

[To The Editor] Sir, —Ratepayers would not be misled by'’'Citizen’s” irrelevant gnd personal remarks in his' absurd letter in your issue of the 6th instant. Whatever individual members of the City Council may think or. resolutions passed, the simple fact stands as per the notice quoted by Mr Berryman over the signature of the Mayor which proves that the ratepayers voted for Miller’s section for the purpose of “site for Municipal Buildings.”' Therefore the Council is bound to abide by the result of the poll of the ratepayers.—l am, etc., RATEPAYERS. Nelson, 9th September.
