The totalisator handled £17,465 10s, compared with £19,370 10s last year.

HAWKES BAY MEETING RIOTOUS EASILY IN STEPLES OUTSIDER WINS HURDLES HASTINGS, 19th June. The Havvkes Bay Jockey Club continued its winter meeting at Hastings to-day in bright sunshine. The course was good and the attendance large. Results:—

Tiie totalisator handled £10,716, an increase of £3622 against the corresponding day last year. The total for the meeting was £17,876, an .increase of £6274 over last year.

GREYMOUTH JOCKEY CLUB CHIEF EVENT TO MAROHA PAPER NOTE’S SUCCESS GREYMOUTH, 19th June. The Greymouth Jockey Club’s Meeting was held to-day in sunny weather. There was a large attendance.
