ROYAL DOUBLES
■STM I KING IHvSE.M It LANCES (By Air Mail—From Our Own Correspondent) LONDON, blh April. ' Mrs Helen Mary Lex, who lias just died in her Windsor home, so closely resembled Queen Mary that even the Castle sentries sometimes gave her the salute. A lonner Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Mr L S. Cohen bore a similar dose likeness to King Edward VII, and to emphasise it. cut his beard in the same style. He was a proprietor o! a big general emporium, and used to keep a wax model of King Edward s bust in bis windows. Nobody could be certain whether it was the King nr Mr Cohen. There is a London engineer who also looked just like King Edward’s double. Once, when he walked into a Brussels cafe, the orchestra struck up our National Anthem. These resemblances amuse the doubles, but can be awkward on occasions.
