Moloney. The bullet, although it lodged near the heart, did not strike' a vital organ, but caused internal hemorrhage, which led to her death almost 12 hours later. Miss McPherson apparently made her way home without mentioning her action to anyone. Dr. Bakewell was summoned to Miss McPherson’s home at 2.30 o’clock on Saturday morning as soon as her parents had learned what had happened. Dr. Bakewell immediately sent for an ambulance.
