SHORE CREWS INVINCIBLE PUBLIC SCHOOLS REGATTA AT SYDNEY [United Press Association—By Electrio Teleg-aph—Copyright! SYDNEY, 2nd May. The Sydney Church of England Grammar School (Shore) achieved an outstanding success at the Great Public Schools Regatta on the Nepean River by winning all the events, including the championship eights, which carries the title Head of the River. Shore's victories were a triumph of technique against heavier combinations. The eights was a splendid contest, all the crews racing almost together throughout. Eight schools were represented in each event. Results:— First fours (mile): Shore 1, Scot’s College 2, St. Joseph’s College 3. Three feet; two lengths. Time, 5.54. Second four (mile): Shore 1, St. Joseph’s College 2 ,Sydney High School 3. Three lengths ; half a length. Time, 5.57 3-5. Championship eights (one mile and a half); Shore 1, Scot’s College 2, Sydney Gra’mmar School 3. Quarter of & length; length. Time 8.1 2-5.
