ODDFELLOWS’ DANCE
A very successful dance was held in the Oddfellows’ Hall, Waimea street, on Saturday night, by the social committee of the Loyal Howard Lodge. Good prizes were received by the winners of the Monte Carlo and Early Bird waltz contests, and the excellent supper provided by the committee was much appreciated. The music was supplied by Mr Harold Williams’s Dance Band, while the attractive programme of old time and modern dances was efficiently directed by Bro. G. L. Housiaux, M.C.
