MOSCOW-VOLGA CANAL
FIRST SHIP PASSES THROUGH [United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph —Copy rich t ] MOSCOW, 30th April. The first ship traversed the MoscowVolga canal, which took lour years to cut. It links up the Baltic, White, Caspian, Black and Azov Seas. The canal also quadruples Moscow’s watersupply.
