“A CRUSADE FDR CHRIST”
The meetings in the big marquee near the Post Office, where the Church of Christ is conducting its Crusade for Christ, have continued all the past week with good attendances. On Tuesday last a most inspiring young people’s service was held, registering the largest week-night attendance for the whole series of meetings. Mr Robinson spoke on “Christ-Inspired Youth.” On Wednesday the subject was “The Heavenward Way,” and was .Hustrated by a chart, showing the steps by which a sinner leaves the world, comes into the Church and enters heaven. On Thursday night the subject was “Christian Baptism.” Mr Robinson discussing the importance of baptism, how it is performed, and who are proper subjects for baptism. La«t night Mr Robinson’s subject was “Love’s Argument for Immortality.” There will be no meeting to-night, but on Sunday the final meeting will be held, the subject being, “The Inevitable Christ.”
