DANNEVIRKE CLUB’S SECOND DAY [By Telegraph—Press Association] WOODVILLE, This Day. For the Dannevirke Racing Club’s second day at Woodville the weather was fine with a gusty wind. The attendance was satisfactory, and the track heavy. Results: — Te Papapakuku Hurdles, of £100; one mile and a half —3 Collision, 9.1 (C. B. Kowhai), 1; 5 Iddo. 9.0 (A. Hepburn) 2; .1 Ethiop, (9.13 C. McGovern) 3. All started. Won by two and a half lengths and four lengths. Time, 2.56 1-5. Tiratu Plate, of £80; five furlongs and a half.—l Captain Furst, 9.1 (A. Lord), 1; 3 Notice, 8.5 (S. Wilson), 2; 2 Galteemoore 8.7| (P. Burgess), 3. Glenthawn was scratched. Won by two and a-half lengths, three lengths. Time, 1.11.

KAIKOURA TROTTING CLUB KAIKOURA, This Day. The Kaikoura Trotting Club’s meeting is being held to-day in fine weather. The track is good and the attendance large. Results:— Improvers Handicap, of £6O; one mile and a quarter.—l Stylish Boy, scr, (G. Cameron). 1; 3 Golden Moness, scr, 2, 4 Streamline, scr, 3. Scratched: Francisco, Sister Bingen Ratepayer.
