CONTROLLER AND AUDITORGENERAL MR J. H. FOWLER TO FILL POSITION Illy Telegraph- Press Association] WELLINGTON. This Day. The appointment of Mr James Henry Fowler as Controller and AuditorGeneral was announced by the ActingPrime Minister, the Hon. P. Fraser, at the conclusion of a Cabinet meeting. Mr Fowler, who has been DeputyController and Auditor-General for the past 15 years, succeeds the late Colonel G. F. C. Campbell.
