KEEN GENERAL COMPETITION NEW ZEALAND CLIPS [United Press Association—Ry Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received 28th April, 12.40 p.m.) LONDON. 26th April. At the wool sales 7402 bales were offered, including 2549 New Zealand. A good selection was offered and 6795 bales were sold. There was keen general competition, particularly from the Home trade. Crossbreds generally were 5 to 74 per cent, and all others 5 per cent, dearer than the closing prices of last series. New Zealand greasy crossbred "Oweka,” top price 18Jd, average 17Jd; slipe halfbred lambs. “Canterbury,” top price 25d, average 2,'ld.
