Dr. Maloney, in a characteristically outspoken interview with the “Evening News” says: “Politicians are just a lot of savages and will remain so until they ensure free education for all to university standard. I will never forget my experience in the slums of London. Dublin and Glasgow. Fortunately things are a lot better for children now and would be a lot better still if children had a vote. He added: “I want to die in harness. I haven’t much money, but have three suits, three pairs of boots and £1 for every friend in distress. That’s enough.”
