LOWER MOUTERE BRANCH [From Our Own Correspondent] The annual meeting of the Lower Moutcrc Women’s Institute was held at the home of Mrs Mcßrydic. Pleasure was expressed hy all members at being together again after the summer break. The meeting opened with the Instituto song, “Comrades and Friends” being sung in memory of the composer Mrs Bibby, who recently passed away. A report of the year’s activities and the balance sheet were read by the secretary and were declared very satisfactory. Mrs G. Starnes was unanimously re-elected president and Mrs Rosenberg secretary. The prize for most points in the monthly competitions throughout the year was won by Mrs Ren Mcßrydie. It was stated that the membership was still increasing.
