New Zealand cheese is selling retail at 7d per lb. New Zealand -Cheese was selling wholesale at this time last year at _s4s to 54s 6d per ewt. English farmers' cheese is quoted at 89s to 96s per ewt, the same as the week before.

Hates fixed under the guaranteed jii'lt'e scheme (subject to quality) are 117 s 3J lor butter and 63s 7d for clieese per c'vt, f.o.b. in New Zealand currency. The equivalent landed market prices in London are 105 s tb 106 s for butter and 60s 6.1 for cheese.

The guaranteed price is equal to 12.565 d per lb t.0.b., and the current London quotation is equivalent to approximo telv 12.77 d per lb f.o.b. New Zealand polls.
