MRS BONNEY’S FLIGHT
ARRIVAL AT BANGKOK THANKS FOR HELP GIVEN IN 1933 [United Press Association -Ity Electric Telegraph—Oopy right] SINGAPORE, 24th April. Mrs Bonney, who is on a flight from Australia to the Cape. landed at Bangkok aerodrome. The time of her departure for Rangoon at present is undecided. She broadcast thanks to the Siamese people for help given her when her ’plane crashed off the Siamese coast in 1933.
BROOK AFTER RECORD (Received 20lh April, 10.25 a.m. LONDON. 25th April. Mr H. L. Brook took off from Gravesend at 5.52 a.m. in an attempt to beat Amy Mollison’s Cape records. He arrived at Marseilles and later took off for Cairo.
