ATTACKED BY CATTLE
TWO SETTLERS IN COLLINGWOOD DISTRICT SEVERE INJURIES SUSTAINED [By Telegraph—From Our Own Correspondent] BAINHAM, This Day. Two farmers in the Collingwood district were injured by cattle during the past few days. At Bainham a cow standing unroped in a cowshed bail took fright at a kitten, which had strayed into the shed. Lashing out with its hind foot it kicked its owner, Mr B. J. Hunter, who was sitting milking in the second bail of the set, in the back. Mr Hunter sustained a fracture of two ribs.
Mr A. Diamond, of Rockville, was attacked by his Jersey bull when he went to shift the animal. It is understood that Mr Diamond was rather badly injured.
