REVENUE FROM TOBACCO
BIG SUM FOR BRITISH EXCHEQUER (British Official Wirelcsß) RUGBY, 15th March. The Chancellor of the Exchequer (Mr Neville Chamberlain), answering a question in the House of Commons, said that the approximate net amount of revenue derived from imported tobacco during 193 G was £77,770,000.
