WAIMEA DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB SATURDAY’S SHOOT The Waiinea- Defence Rifle Club fired the third match of the B series oyer 500 yards, on Saturday. A strong south-west wind and changing light made shooting interesting. 1 Brown was top off the ril'lo with 95. 1. Wells one of the young shots, who is showing steady improvement takes tiie B grade feathers with 89. There will he no shooting next Saturday, on account of the trotting meeting at Richmond Park. The next match will be at 6CO yards on the 6tli Febi miry. The Club will be represented by a team of five at the. Nelson Provincial Championship meeting on the Ist February at Scabourue Range.
